One of A Kind – Adriana Lima
Brazilian born, Victoria’s Secret model and mother of two children, she is one of the top earning models of all time and one of the most beautiful women in the world.
Adriana has been modelling for Victoria’s Secret since 1999 and has been there the longest compared to any other model. She missed a show in 2009 because of her pregnancy but was back soon after. In 2012, She opened the show for the 5th time, just 2 months after giving birth to her second child.
In the 2013 edition of the Pirelli Magazine, she was featured for the second time and she was the first pregnant woman ever featured in the calendar.
She has walked the runway for designers like Alexandre Herchcovitch, Giorgio Armani, Balmain, Vera Wang, Valentino, Luca Luca, Givenchy, Versace, Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Sean John, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Desigual.
During an interview in 2011, she revealed her diet regimen that she practiced 9 days prior to the big show, each year. This, however caused major controversy as her diet was considered most unhealthy as it consisted mainly of Protein shakes. This diet went on to be one of the most searched diets on google.
However, Adriana defended herself by saying she only did it once year before the show, this was because she loved the show and wanted to look her best, she also trained twice a day from three weeks before the show.
Well, now we know why she looks so amazing and its not just the diet guys, you’ve got to remember her intense workout sessions as well.
So even though she has amazing genes and she is able to eat anything throughout the year (she has confessed to eating meat, chocolates and cakes ), she works really hard to look her best for the show.
So if you feel like eating, eat!! just eat it.. if Adriana Lima can, you can too!! (that’s for both, the eating and the working out!)
